Minton more than helps the Red Raiders control the net in different ways. Minton pounds down overpassed balls with authority and uses her quick arm swing to deposit balls to different parts of the court, especially on short sets. Minton sees the court well and smacks balls to shallow open side lines when they are open. Minton has an outstanding vertical jump and uses it to hit balls over and around blocks. Minton is a sound solo blocker and works well with teammates to form solid double blocks.

Minton (pictured) made a lot of things happen for A5 Chattanooga Mary at the JVA Challenge over the weekend. Minton carrier her momentum to the sides of blockers to find holes in between the blocks on gap shots. Minton has shown great leaping ability to beat blockers in the air. Minton makes nice in-air adjustments to get on top of balls and nicely place them into openings on the court. Minton consistently creates enough space at the net then safely lands on two feet. Minton forms nice double blocks at the net. Minton mixes in soft hits and is a big encouragement to her teammates.
