About Georgia

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I like to be two steps ahead in a play. This allows me to watch the court to set my hitters up for the next kill.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am focused driven and motivated to become the best version of myself. I pride myself in being a strong leader and loyal person.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

No

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

As the teams setter, I have been the captain for high school and club. I am focused driven but love to have fun when playing volleyball. I love to rally my teammates and keep them with a next ball mentality.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I started out as a DS/libero and two years ago my club coach put me as a setter. I had to completely change my thought process when playing the game. As a setter you need to watch the court and be two steps ahead. It was a change, but I’m thankful she saw something in me and pushed me to challenge myself.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that will not only allow me to continue playing volleyball but also allow me to further my education in the medical field.
