At 5’6″ she is undersized for a pin. Her approach jump only hits 9’0″. Yet, she carries a good sense of the court as well as the location of the opponent’s block. The deep corner is her friend.
Prior to Paramount she played a bit for Blue Ridge , hitting right side. They have a way of developing the smaller outsides.
As a sophomore Gianna hit outside for Light Ridge. They reached the Regionals in the State playoffs but lost in the first round to Potomac Falls. As she gets older and goes against taller players she may have to move to a back row role. Barring that she can hope for either significant growth or an increase in that vertical.

She impressed with what I saw of her from the Volley by the James hitting on the right side. She appeared taller than the 5’5″ height listed here but she is still undersized, even for a pin hitter.
As a frosh at her high school she did not get a lot of playing time. That could change with graduations. An example of a player who did not win a top performer award at a Prep Dig showcase but still impressed with her skills playing in a tournament.
