Kiera Benes at 5’9″ is a bit undersized to play middle. She lists as middle for the Paramount Alec team as well Jackson Reed. At the Tiger Paws tournament, despite being just a sophomore she took the responsibility of being floor captain on the court.

She may lack the size but she brings the quickness to mash the fast tempo sets. At a Maryland Juniors Open tournament she was clutch, getting some crucial kills and blocks that resulted in a Paramount 26-24 win.

Paramount Alec qualified for Junior Nationals in the Freedom Division.
