Grace returns for another year after averaging an impressive 9.3 assists per set. A standout player with extensive experience on the MAVS 16 Elite team, she has already accumulated 1,555 career assists, 729 digs, and 231 kills. Known for her killer serve and exceptional soft hands, Grace is not just a stellar setter; she could easily transition to libero if needed. She’s undoubtedly one of the best players in Class 2.

We mentioned Engeman earlier as one of the two talented setters on the Mavs KC squad. She is a fierce competitor who earned all-state honors in her freshman season. She makes good decisions in her sets and also plays well defensively at the right back.

After an all-state season as a freshman, Engeman is working hard to stake her claim as the top setter in the class. She is what I consider elite in ball placement. The part of her game that equally impresses is her back-row defense.

Adrian welcomed Engeman into their lineup this season and luckily get her for three more years. She ran a solid offense in a 6-2 system dishing out 661 assists and powering down 108 kills. She is going to compete with others to be one of the top setters in the class.
