Ponce has a motor and it proves vital to keeping plays alive, under control. Ponce has outstanding range and comes to nice stops to beat balls to their destinations on the floor. Ponce’s leadership on and off the court is commendable. She does a great job making sure teammates are in the right positions. She’s quick to praise them after the team scores poitns and pick them up if the play does not go their way. Ponce also sends across a sound jump float serve.

Ponce has turned into a solid leader on the court with her experience. Ponce uses good range and stops well in her tracks to make crisp passes. Ponce is coachable and consistently communicates with her teammates on the court.

Ponce is reliable on first touches for the Wolves. Ponce tracks balls then makes simple bump and overhead passes. Ponce also provides good net coverage. Ponce makes pancake digs against solid hitters. Ponce can handle soft and hard hits.

Ponce (pictured) will only grow from her experience on varsity last year. Ponce makes the routine and spectacular saves under control. Ponce has demonstrated the ability to defend all over the court with her mobility. Her jump serve will give the Wolves a lot of points this fall.

Ponce does a great job watching hitters and anticipating where balls are doing. Ponce dives to the ground and even records pancake digs when needed to keep plays alive. Ponce flies all over the court. Ponce has shown she can handle a variety of hits from hard spikes to soft shoves toward the sidelines. Ponce also has a nice jump serve. Ponce finished the fall season with a team-high 397 digs to go with 54 aces to help the Wolves win a third straight 55th District championship and make it back to the 14th Region title game for the third consecutive year.

Ponce is quick and covers the court thoroughly. Productive, Ponce possesses solid back row skills and can make an impact from various parts of the court. Able to contribute to several categories regularly, Ponce is a strong back row hitter. A talented passer, Ponce reacts quickly and communicates well with teammates.
