About Grace

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay style is focused and strategic. I work to identify open opportunities on the court quickly and try to execute the best option, whether that means hitting or tipping it. I’m highly competitive and committed to contributing to my team’s success in every match.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is very competitive, but grounded. I aim to bring a sense of calm confidence to the court and to be someone my teammates can rely on in tough moments. I’m not easily rattled during play, and I welcome challenges as opportunities to grow.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I'm a member of 1). Interact, 2). National Honor Society (NHS) 3). Cultural Appreciation Club, 4). Card Club, 5). Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). I have received academic awards throughout middle school and high school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I've developed strong leadership and teamwork skills from Middle School, High School, and throughout my club experiences. I aim to be someone my teammates feel comfortable turning to when they’re stressed, overwhelmed, or simply need to talk things through. I try to lead with support + communication, and would describe myself as a natural leader who enjoys guiding + uplifting the people around me.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

In 2024, I broke my leg due to overtraining, and the experience taught me the importance of taking proper care of my body. I learned how to rest intentionally, fuel myself well, and prioritize recovery and mobility. I believe this challenge ultimately made me a stronger person and a better player, shaping me into who I am today.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m interested in attending an out-of-state college, preferably with a larger campus where I can meet new people and broaden my experiences. I want to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds and be challenged academically, while also being supported by a strong student-athlete program. My goal is to continue growing both as a person and as an athlete.
