About Gracelynn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Vocal OH/spin player who takes pride in seeing the court holistically. Detail orientated teammate who has enjoyed focusing on leadership skills and bringing that to each point on the court. Energetic teammate who celebrates every accompisment of her teammates both on and off the court.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I believe in always giving 110%. I have an understanding that no player will always play perfect and most battles are won with positive self talk and being able to adjust to those battles at a moments notice.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Continuing to develop leadership skills and teamwork as I enter HS vball and club season. Active church member at a local christian church.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

At this age, it's always a challenge to feel like you belong and fit in with your peers. I continue to build the confidence within myself to believe I am enough. I am fortunate to have an amazing support system in my family and close friends.

What type of college are you looking for?

Supportive of both academics and sports. Work ethic and teammate driven. Would like a college with a good psych program.

I watched Hoel a few times last year and was super impressed with her growth from beginning of the season until the end when I saw her at AAU in Florida. This growth showcases her dedication to the sport and the drive she has to be one of the top outsides in the Class of 2028. Hoel brings a powerful, forceful swing and an impressive vertical to the court that are remarkable and fun to watch. I anticipate I will be even more impressed with her growth when I check her out in the upcoming months during club play.
