As only a sophomore, Heinle has a ton of potential to be a major impact player for Central Catholic this year and beyond. Although she saw less court time during her freshman year, Heinle’s development as a libero on the Athena 15-1 team this season will certainly be imperative as she is likely to take on a bigger role in the back row for the Rams this fall. Heinle is a steady defensive player, positioning herself well to pass hard-driven serves and attacks and covering her hitters effortlessly. Heinle’s future is bright as she continues to grow as a libero.

Heinle has made so much improvement this season, playing as the Athena 15-1 libero. Although she has always been a talented back row player, Heinle’s defense has become next level. She is super fast, which helps her pick up nearly anything and make a play or keep a play going. Heinle is also a consistent passer, and at Regionals she showcased her great hands and ability to set the ball when needed.

Hienle was one of two freshmen to make it on the varsity team at Central Catholic and saw some court time as both a defensive specialist and serving specialist. She is a defensive machine with an incredibly fast reaction time. She brings a tough standing float serve to the service line that garners lots of aces and disruptions. Already the top defensive specialist in the class, she will be one to watch over the next few seasons.
