Nwosu has been utilized as one of the setters for Athena 16-1 Gold and will be used in that role as her team competes in the 16 American division at USAV Nationals. Nwosu does a great job of running a super quick offense, using her nice touch on the ball and fast jump sets to move the ball along the net efficiently. Nwosu also has excellent court vision and makes smart setting decisions.

We saw Nwosu running the offense on Athena 16-1 Gold, as one of two setters on the roster. She displayed good court vision. Her touch on the ball is soft, with noted improved technique. Her defense was exceptional, digging some really hard driven balls to the middle of the court. She also brings great energy to the court.

A transplant for Texas, Nwosu burst onto the Oregon volleyball scene this fall, securing a starting position for the varsity team at Central Catholic. Coming in as a defensive specialist and attacker, she honed in on her setting and by mid-season was in the lineup setting a 6-2. Incredibly athletic and versatile, she is the type of athlete who will fulfill whatever role is needed for the team with a smile on her face. Nwosu is an athlete who always looks like she is having a blast on the court and is always hyping up her teammates. Joining the Athena 16-1 Gold team this club season, she will be competing for court time as a setter with returners Sloan Hefenieder and Madeline Harrington Madeline Harrington 5'9" | S/RS Sunset | 2026 State OR also on the team.
