About Gretchen

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a very technical player. I use my volleyball IQ to help my team, and myself succeed. I am very hardworking and disciplined. I love to play against tough competition. I am quick on my feet and can transition to anywhere on the court. I can attack from both, the front and backrow. I have a powerful serve and precise platform.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a very mentally tough player. I have been taught how to handle constructive criticism and to use it to help me. I love to push myself to be my best self. I am always positive, working hard, and supportive. I love to encourage my teammates and celebrate all of our ups and be encouraging during our downs.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am an active member of Student Council at my high school as well as SADD, E-Club and Letters of Love. I also enjoy being a member of the Unified Club and Tri-M which is the National Honors Society for High School Band Members.
