While you may not see her on the varsity court a ton this season with Lily Parker Lily Parker 5'7" | S/RS Greenbrier | 2028 State AR running the offense, Jones is more than capable of being the Panthers’ next starting setter.

I could talk about her skill and work ethic, but what impressed me most was her coachability. During one match, her coach pulled her aside and worked with her on using her shoulders to push a set across the court, giving her hitter a better ball to attack. Jones never broke eye contact and soaked up every word. The next time she stepped on the floor, she fired a perfect set across the court, and her hitter put it away. That’s the kind of player coaches love—someone who listens, applies what she’s taught, and gets better right before your eyes.

Jones is a very good and consistent up and coming athlete. She does a great job at keeping the ball in front of her while setting and makes smart decisions on where to set the ball. She also does a great job at putting the ball away while swinging on the pins when she is front row. Her serve receive is pretty consistent, keeping her team in system.

Jones is a very impressive young setter with quick feet and very quick thinking. She does a great job at reversing the flow and has a great connection with her pins. She is also pretty scrappy in the back row and does a great job at sending the first ball to the libero when she takes it. She will be one of the top high school setters soon and continues to improve her skill.
