Look for the Panthers to take a big step forward this season. Parker’s IQ and work ethic set her apart from most setters in the state. She delivers a crisp ball to put her attackers in great position to put the ball down.

Her calmness was especially noticeable during EVA’s third-set battle against AVC on day one, where she never looked rushed despite the pressure. She has extremely clean hands and exceptional court awareness. She consistently distributed the ball to every attacker while also recognizing when her back-row options created the best matchup. Parker truly runs the offense like a quarterback. Every possession feels intentional because she understands how to manipulate blockers and change the tempo. Throughout the week, she also made plays in the front row that changed rallies. On tight passes, she wasn’t afraid to attack on second contact or place the ball into open areas instead of forcing difficult sets. Her athleticism and vertical allow her to stay balanced even on imperfect passes, giving her hitters better opportunities than they probably should have had. She leads with intensity, expects a high standard from those around her, and sets the tone every time she steps on the floor.

Parker is a high-IQ setter who controls the flow of the offense with intention and precision. She consistently uses her awareness to split the block and create advantageous matchups, keeping opposing defenses off balance. Her hands are smooth and disciplined, showing little variation regardless of the set, which helps disguise her intentions and maintain tempo. Parker runs a fast, consistent offense that puts pressure on blockers and often beats them to the point of attack. Parker is a very smart setter. She does a great job at reversing the flow at the net and psyching out the opposing blockers to create an open net. She played six rows for Greenbrier this year setting from the back row and hitting in the front row. She has a very strong snap to the ball and does a great job at hitting the deep corners.
