Olness saw varsity action as an eighth grader and wasted little time making an impact. She quickly adjusted to the faster pace of high school volleyball, while her club experience has continued to push her development. Olness moves well and has a good understanding of spacing, knowing how to stay out of her setter’s way while running both in front and behind to make herself available offensively. She can also attack effectively from the right side, adding another layer of versatility to her game. With varsity experience already under her belt at such a young age, Olness is a player with plenty of room to grow and one for us to keep an eye on.

Harper Olness Harper Olness 6'0" | MB New London-Spicer | 2030 State MN reads the play developing and works to stay involved on both sides of the ball. She gets up in transition and makes herself available offensively, while at the net she reacts quickly to close space and take away angles. She’s consistently around the play. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas
