I still have to remember that Haven Enselman Haven Enselman 5'11" | S/RS Marist | 2029 IL is only a 2029.  She has been a standout for Adversity 16 Adidas the past two seasons, but this year I think she has really come into her own.  The 2029 setter is a floor general where she can command the court, getting her teammates in the right spot to terminate.  Her athleticism allows her to be extremely dynamic, she is the type of setter who can make something out of nothing.  The Adversity 16 Adidas team has a bid to the open division for USAV, the highest level.  Enselman will see her teammates officially start the recruiting process on June 15 while she will wait a year.  However, she is going to be a high priority to get to camps this summer. 

Haven is a setter with a ton of skill and a whole lot of fun to watch. Her sets are consistently on point, and even when the pass breaks down, she finds a way to deliver a ball her hitters can score on. Delivering sets right in sweet spots from angles with quickness that’s beyond her years. She holds her own defensively too, getting touches at the net, digging tough swings, and chasing down balls to keep rallies alive. Offensively, she’s sneaky and dangerous, scoring setter kills you never see coming. When Haven is on the court, you need to know where she is at all times. Total gamer, incredibly skilled, and a difference maker every play.

Haven is a class of 2029 playing on the state champs squad Marist. She had a ton of assists in the championship game against Benet and ran that offense really well. She has good size a really nice touch and feel at the setter position. She’s athletic as well and has such great sense of where to go with the ball, where to be on the court. She is going to be a player to watch during club and for the rest of her career.

This girl caught my attention. She has very soft hands, whether it’s a set or even defending balls over her head. A lot of her sets I saw were right on the money. She has great height for a setter and can jump set, and set dimes whether it’s via backset or out of system with her platform. Saw her make smart decisions on the floor as well. She always seemed focused and ready to compete. And a laser serve that goes right above the net.

I was ready to write about Haven Enselman Haven Enselman 5'11" | S/RS Marist | 2029 IL in my article on 2028s to get to camp this summer until I realized she was a 2029.  I was able to see her and the Adversity 15 Adidas squad at the JVA World Challenge where her athleticism really stood out on the 15s court.  She is a setter/right side combo athlete who just has this grit about her.  Her competitive edge brings a no fear style to her game where she will be very exciting to watch develop over the summer as she will probably get on courts of college camps.
