Reeder’s early seasons were solid but she showed the state that she had a lot more to give. Her junior season showed us the explosive, high-efficiency play Reeder is now known for. She entered the upperclass years with a vengeance. She was accumulating more kills each set and much more efficient at the net, which was a clear sign that Reeder had put in the work to add power and precision to her swing. She has embraced a leadership role on a very competitive Anoka team and proven she can handle the pressure of being the primary offensive threat.

Reeder has established herself as an elite six-rotation outside for Anoka. Some of her career accomplishments include earning All-Conference recognition, being named to the All-AAAA State Tournament Team, and receiving Honorable Mention Tournament Team honors. By 2025, Reeder has demonstrated her significant impact on Anoka. Her career statistics showcase her all-around game with over 1,100 career kills, 882 digs, and 108 assists across 284 sets played.

Arizona just missed out on NCAA Tournament in 2024 and they took that personally.  They have had a great offseason in recruiting and have beefed up their non conference schedule which should help their RPI coming at the end of November.  They are coming off a ranked win against Baylor this past weekend.  They will bring in one of the top outside hitters in Minnesota in Hayden Reeder.   Reeder has been playing her club ball for MN Select who has a roster of high powered college commits.  The biggest strength in Reeder’s game is her ability to contribute in multiple positions.  She is lethal in the back court, she can score from both pins, she is someone the other side of the net has to be aware of.  She also creates a lot of energy for her court as well.

Reeder exploded onto the scene last fall when she led Anoka to the state tournament and a 3rd place finish. She then kept the momentum going into the club season and this summer committed to Arizona. Reeder is an explosive ball of fire and her quick rise is nothing short of amazing. She plays so much bigger than 6’1 at the net with high-level attacking, and then is solid in serve receive and plays with great instincts on defense. With any luck, Reeder will be back at the X in November with Anoka.

Reeder has a high ceiling and not that I see her playing 6 rotations on the right side I feel like her ceiling was just expanded. Starting with the incredibly high contact point she has to the super-fast arm swing which creates an attack so lethal it will hit the floor before you see it. But no matter the pin she is taking huge swings on the ball and I’m loving her attacks out of the back row as well as her defensive plays.
