This is not Wolf’s first rodeo. The senior libero has been in big matches throughout her prep career, so the electric environment at Pius was nothing new. Wolf’s floor defense was dialed in throughout the tournament, and she also produced clutch passes when the Wolves needed it most. We were also reminded of Wolf’s valuable role as an emotional leader who can inject energy into her team at any time

We’ve mentioned before that Wolf is a huge sparkplug for her Premier 17 Black squad. Her team has undergone some personnel changes in its backcourt this year, but that hasn’t stopped Wolf from standing out. Rather, Wolf has shown her range by taking on just about any DS role possible and excelling the whole way. Nationals will be an important venue for this libero, but the upcoming fall season with Elkhorn North might be even more exciting.

Of course, with my roots in Nebraska, Wolf has been on my radar for a while. But she will always be worthy of mention on a national feature as long as her Premier 17 Black remains a national contender in their division. Wolf’s defensive work helped Premier notch an unblemished run through pools before getting tripped up early in the 17 USA bracket. This libero will be back in the spotlight before long.

We can’t wait to see more of that passion and energy that makes Wolf an extraordinary libero. On the prep side, Wolf had a huge influence in the meteoric rise of Elkhorn North to the top of Class B in just the program’s third year of existence. But, it’s also impossible to forget the magical season Premier 16 Black had this year with Wolf running the team’s floor defense. Buckle up for another thrilling year.
