The WVBA 18 Adidas team finished with two wins in the Gold A bracket on Sunday at Ridgeline High School in the Spokane Valley. Christensen was impressive in both matches, playing with toughness and physicality from her pin position. The Air Force commit has a big arm that can power through a block, but she will drop in a roll as an off-speed shot to keep defenses guessing. Emery DeJong, a 2023 Cal Baptist commit is the other half of the outside duo for WVBA, she blasted balls all weekend and has a high-velocity arm swing.

Lake Stevens loses a fixture for their program in Christianson, she has been a super physical presence at the net for the Vikings. Her arm has some real pop, she can play the power game at a high level. Another Washington State player appointed to and playing collegiately at a service academy, Christianson will be headed to play at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs next season. Two players in the same class from the same state, congratulations to both!

In the semi-final win over Puyallup, the senior outside took a massive 59 swings, and registered 25 kills ripping it at a .322 rate. The Air Force commit was working against a huge Puyallup front line, and junior middle Danielle Brown registered six solo blocks, but it was not enough to pull off a victory in a battle of the Vikings. Laura Eichert will move into the featured attacker role for Lake Stevens next season after posting outstanding attacking numbers as a freshman.
