Jaden has been turning heads at national events since she was playing on 12s rosters earning recognition at the Triple Crown as a setter for Madfrog before most players her age had seen a national tournament floor. That background showed clearly at the Dallas Freshman Showcase, where she ran an offense with the composure and decisiveness of a player who has been in high-pressure environments before. Her footwork, tempo management, and the way she connected with hitters she had just met all drew attention from court coaches throughout the day. There were times where she looked like a polished and seasoned veteran running a high level offense for years.  Her form and technique looked very solid as you can tell she has been trained extremely well. She earned her Top Performer award the same way she has been earning recognition at every level so far, by being the most reliable person in the system every time the ball came to her. Friar will be with Melissa when high school ball starts and sets for Madfrog at the club level. She’s a confident and well-rounded playmaker who stands out for her decision-making and her ability to keep her team’s offense flowing in any conditions. Friar does a good job of adjusting to different passes and her ability to quickly get to the ball keeps all setting options available for her even in out-of-system plays. She is also aggressive with setter dumps, serves very well and is always alert when playing defense.
