Her last name has a Mongolian derivative to it. It surprised her that I brought that up because she confirmed her name is Mongolian. One of my favorite capital cities is Ulaanbaatar. The two names are very similar.

I thought the selection of top performers was finished until she caught my attention in the six person play. She moves well in the back court shifting easily from her base to her defensive position. Her passing was also smooth and clean. She shows good hustle going after balls. All the traits you like to see in a libero.

Because Virginia Juniors did not qualify for junior nationals they played in AAUs. This was my first real exposure watching her play. Glad to see her stand out.

This coming high school season she will compete for Freedom-South Riding.
