McGregor has been dishing out “one-ups” to her NPJ Salem 17 National attackers this club season. A 2027 prospect from Valley Catholic, McGregor has helped her team earn the 17 National bid out of the CEVA Region- she will reverse the flow and does an excellent job staying calm and repeatable in her setting motion. Her ability to lead a team and deliver wins has her ranked in the Top 20 of the 2027 class in Oregon.

McGregor has seen a sharp rise in her game—and her ranking—thanks to standout performances with Valley Catholic and NPJ Salem 16-1 National. Her improved hand strength allows her to deliver clean sets to the pins from anywhere on the court, even when off balance. She consistently runs a fast tempo and uses her court vision to set against the grain, keeping opposing defenses on their toes. McGregor is an athletic and dynamic setter. She is disciplined about getting her feet to the ball and set, with prominent left-right footwork. With a natural hand strength, she pushes the balls to the pins effortlessly. Her jump start is beginning to develop and improve each time I watch her play. Although undersized at 5’6”, she confidently plays across the front row when executing a 5-1. Her skill as a setter is being utilized with NPJ Portland 15-1 National this club season.

McGregor stood out quickly at the start of the Expo during Queens, where she showed off her nice hands and great set placement. McGregor has impressive hand strength for her size, which allows her to push the ball from pin to pin with ease. She is also quick on her feet and consistent in her placement, and on Sunday McGregor did an excellent job of putting her attackers in great positions to score during gameplay. I’ll be excited to see how she continues to grow on the NPJ Portland 15-1 team this year.
