Miss Hepbrun has risen in the State Rankings list.  She is now currently ranked as the 42^nd best overall player according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings.  She plays for Bowie High School and plays for the Austin Performance volleyball club program.  Recently she committed to play college volleyball at the University of Washington.  They are getting a very dynamic and talented baller.  Blessed with mad hops and insane athleticism, this young lady is a joy to watch.  What I like about her game is how you can move her around the court to attack from multiple routes and angles.  This gives your offense a lot of options to score with and keep the defense guessing.  Don’t blink when this kiddo takes off from her touch point, because you will just see a blur due to her speed.  The ball also disappears rather quickly after it rebounds off of her hand after contact.  Please help us congratulate her on moving up in our prestigious State Rankings. 

Hepburn featured in the AP 16 Adidas team that claimed a top-three finish, ranking third with three wins and two losses. Very long and explosive, she was the team’s main scorer and very few opponents had answers to her strong and efficient game at the net. Hepburn made the most of her length to hit over the top of opposing blockers, but was probably even better when set a shorter ball, closer to the middle – she was very smart to switch gears and score off of tips too. She also served very well and created difficulties for opponents to side out.

Jazzlyn has a fast and mean line shot. She possesses a very fast swing and great height. She patiently waits on the set for just the right moment. She allows her anticipation and instincts to take over. Then, with a swift and powerful approach, she unleashes a rapid swing. This makes it incredibly challenging for the block to read her intentions. Her technique combines agility and precision, resulting in a dynamic attack that keeps defenders on their toes. Her impressive vertical reach and quick decision-making enhance her ability to exploit gaps in the opposing defense. These qualities showcase her skill. They make her a formidable presence on the court.
