She has been a standout on the club and high school courts where she was a key piece to Barrington High School who was a perennial power in the large class for Illinois, finishing in the final four the past three seasons. She is long, dynamic, and has a swag about her game that has continued to grow each time she steps on the court.

Meitzler is so fun to watch when there is a tight pass because she does such a great job of using one hand and making it an attackable ball. She does a great job of moving the ball from pin to pin with ease. Meitzler can be moving backwards past the right pin and still get the ball all the way to the left pin.

Though Jenna was more of a hitter for Barrington, I want to mention her here because she has amazing court awareness and a high volleyball IQ. She will be fun to watch as she enters the Big 10 next season. She was a clear leader for Barrington and executed well on offense.

Jenna is the only setter in this class headed to the Big 10. She has a huge presence on the court and just does every aspect of volleyball well. Jenna has a quick, clean, touch on the ball and is nearly impossible for blockers to read. She has a high volleyball IQ and seems to know when and where to feed the ball on every play. Jenna is a very strong blocker, defender, and server as well which makes her valuable in every aspect of the game.

This setter has that wow factor! Her feet are to the ball consistently as she sets and her finish is top-tier. Jenna is a scrappy defender, who is always in the right spot and stopped at the point of contact. She leads her team confidently and connects well with her hitters.
