Ideally, most players want to be able to move the way Kalyn does. The lateral, vertical, and springs on this player are quite impressive. Not only is she able to take flight at will with great heights, she is also adjusting and executing at a high rate. The Minnesota commit isn’t limited to attacking; she is a reliable defender and blocker. Highlight reel waiting to happen.

Kalyn Brookbank Kalyn Brookbank OH Barrington | 2027 State IL has been soaring up the radar among seniors in Illinois.  The Class of 2027 outside hitter gave her verbal to Minnesota last spring after showing plenty of improvement her junior year into her 17s club season.  She is springy, lengthy, and can really drop the hammer on her swing.  She is putting up big numbers for Barrington High School in the North Chicago suburbs where she is averaging over six kills per set.

Kalyn Brookbank Kalyn Brookbank OH Barrington | 2027 State IL burst on to the scene this past club season for Adversity 17 Adidas where she was part of a high powered squad that qualified for the USAV 17 Open Division.  I remember seeing her at Triple Crown where there was a buzz around her court with her rising stock.  She had the length, athleticism, and major upside. The Barrington senior was proving that she could score points at a high level.  She gave her verbal to Minnesota and could be one to watch at the Big Ten.  But first she will be looking to cap off a strong senior year for the Fillies where she is averaging over six kills per set through 11 matches.
