Miss Dickerson earned Top Performer recognition at the 210 Countdown City Classic by controlling the match from the setter position and guiding TAV Houston through strong Open Division competition. Ranked No. 51 in the Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, Dickerson showed a rare combination of strength and athleticism that consistently put her in command of the offense. One of the most impressive technical aspects of her game was her explosive first step, allowing her to release from the net quickly and track down balls that many setters simply cannot reach. That mobility translated into clean, balanced distribution, as she effectively involved all of her hitters and kept opposing blocks from keying in on any single option. Her hands are smooth and controlled, producing a consistent ball that hitters could attack aggressively. Beyond the mechanics, Dickerson displayed natural leadership, confidently directing traffic and setting the tone by example throughout matches. Her poise and command made her an invaluable piece for her squad and a key reason TAV Houston remained competitive against top-tier opponents all weekend.

Please welcome Miss Dickerson officially to the State Rankings.  She is currently ranked as the 51^st best overall prospect in the 2028 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings.  She plays for The Woodlands High School and also for the TAV Houston volleyball club.  JerMya earned her spot on this list due to very hard work and great athletic skills in the setting position.  I love how she utilizes her jump set in every spot on the court and with every tempo.  By doing this, she really holds the opposing middle at home and not able to cheat toward a certain attacker to double block.  This is key for any offense who wants to give their hitters some seams to attack.  Skily smooth and very decisive where she wants to deliver the ball, this young lady is very fun to watch.  She understands overload and spread principles as she distributes the ball during out of system plays.  We think she has a lot of potential and are very proud to have her listed in our publication.  Please help us congratulate her on being named one of the best players in the state of Texas.
