Setter Jesslyn Martin Jesslyn Martin 5'8" | S/RS Pottsville | 2028 AR has been putting in some serious work this season. Through 80 sets, Martin has dished out 426 assists, averaging 5.3 per set. She’s also contributed 122 digs, 42 aces and 18 kills. Those numbers show a setter who does more than just distribute the ball.

Pottsville has some dangerous hitters, including Ella Drown Ella Drown 5'10" | MB/OH Pottsville | 2027 State AR , but getting them quality opportunities starts with Martin. Her ability to make good decisions, move the ball around and keep the offense balanced will be important against a Brookland team with plenty of firepower of its own.

Jesslyn provides great impact from the service line. Forty-two aces from your setter can make a difference, especially in a tight match where a short scoring run can change the momentum.

Brookland and Pottsville both have outside hitters capable of taking over a match. But those hitters need someone putting them in position to succeed.

Don’t overlook the setters in this semifinal. Martin could have as much to say about the outcome as anyone on the court.
