Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I tend to play aggressively at the net, looking for opportunities to make powerful spikes and blocks as a middle blocker. My quick reflexes and ability to read the opponent’s plays help me make crucial saves and contribute to a solid defense. I recently improved my serve accuracy, which has significantly increased our team’s scoring opportunities.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I maintain a sharp focus on reading the setter and anticipating the opponent’s attack. My mentality is geared towards quick reactions and positioning myself effectively to block or alter spikes.
I approach each play with a strong, aggressive mindset. Whether it’s executing a powerful block or attacking with a quick, decisive spike, I’m always looking to assert dominance at the net.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I have participated in travel club called 540 Volleyball Academy in the Elite 16 and 17 VB, Region Old Dominion in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I communicate effectively with my teammates, providing encouragement and ensuring we stay coordinated during fast-paced rallies. I see my role as not just defending but also supporting my teammates. I communicate actively with my setter and outside hitters, helping to orchestrate plays and cover gap.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I practice to maintain composure under pressure, using every opportunity to stay focused and resilient. My goal is to stay positive and driven, even during tough matches or when facing challenging opponents.
I stay flexible and adaptable, ready to shift my approach based on how the game unfolds. This allows me to effectively counter different attacking styles and changing game dynamics
What type of college are you looking for?
I look for good women’s volleyball program that can use my playing skills as a middle blocker and right-side hitter.
