Whether she is on the volleyball court or the basketball court, you can’t take your eyes off her. Expect Hanks to be a major contributor this season. She gained a little in size, now 5’10” and a lot in ability over the summer season. She has some competition ahead of her at Little Rock Christian, but this sophomore will find her way on the court. She’s just too talented. Learning from vets like Piper Andersonn and Sadie Costello Sadie Costello 5'8" | RS/DS/L Little Rock Christian Academy | 2027 State AR , Hanks will continue to grow and will be a force the next three years. Her high volleyball IQ was evident as she skillfully utilized the opponent’s block to her advantage, employing strategic tooling and shot selection to maximize scoring opportunities. Defensively, Hanks proved equally formidable at the net, effectively pressing and limiting available angles, a role that played a crucial part in fortifying her team’s overall defensive structure. Her dual contributions were pivotal in advancing her team to the gold bracket, ultimately leading to a Liberty bid in the 15s division.

With a naturally high reach and a fast, explosive armswing, she consistently found ways to score against tough blocks. Heelyn brings great energy to the court and moves with purpose. Her quickness and fast footwork allow her to close the block efficiently and time her jumps well. Defensively, her block timing was on point, making her a reliable presence at the net. She’s the type of athlete who plays fast and makes the game look even faster.
