Rural’s Grier was fun to watch. This whole group plays solid defense, which I would expect from their young coach, Myiah Soderberg, a Washburn Rural and Prep Dig Alum. Grier has a quiet platform and plays the ball. She is also not afraid to skin her knees up, pads or not. She is one of four players under 5-foot-5 who shocked me with their serving skills.
