Joy has risen in the rankings from 127 to 110. She has also committed to Army. At 6’2″ she brings some good height for the middle. At the Volley by the James she showed the ability to time the quick tempo sets. There is potential that she will develop more power in her swing as she gets stronger while also improving her approach to the ball.

Joy will play for Brooke Point who last year finished 2-17. This will be a good opportunity for her to show her leadership skills.

At 6’2″ she also brings good height to the middle. At the Volley by the James tournament her and setter Maggie Race Maggie Race 5'7" | S/RS Massaponax | 2028 State VA shared a pretty good connection. Joy was banging a number of quick tempo sets. She also strung together a couple key blocks.

As Joy improves her approach and quickness to the setter, her kills will generate a little more power to the floor. Currently, she relies more on her height for tips over the block. Lots of potential in her play.

540 has qualified to play in Junior Nationals in the American Division.
