About Julie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a dominant outside who can find open spots on the court with ease. I am a 6 rotation outside and am an absolute workhorse. I strive every day to get at least 1% better and can’t wait to see where this takes me.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a leader who can provide energy to my teammates both on and off the court.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am in student council as the student body secretary for junior year. I have been in student for 7 years holding many various positions including president a few different times. I am also in hope squad, a suicide prevention club.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed leadership throughout my past 4 years of playing. Giving energy and high communication to my teammates every point.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My freshman year, second day of JV practice I broke my wrist. Leading to 2 different surgeries with metal pins put in. Nerve damage and many more obstacles. I went to every practice, every game and was there for my team taking stats because I still wanted to be involved. I learned how to pass with one arm and hit against the wall, still getting in practice even though I couldn’t play.

What type of college are you looking for?
