Kami does a lot of things well, normally when we talk liberos we either talk about how energy they bring to the floor or we talk about the stability a libero will bring to the back row. Kami does both of these really well, and stands out as a consistent and elite presence for her team on defense and serve receive.

Her serve receive is elite as she is the type of player you can build your serve receive around and create a system tailored to your team as she will always keep you in system. She has the ability to take the seams from her big hitters so they can load faster and does a wonderful job covering her hitters and recycling balls for her team to continue to be in system on offense.

Defensively she is wonderful at reading tips and anticipating any type of off-speed shots that may come about. She gets to those shots so fast it makes it seem like she knew they were coming before the hitter did. She has great footwork which is attributed to the fact she always picks up all these shots. She is great in serving too, as teams are constantly out of system or not in rhythm as she is deadly accurate with her serves.

A big reason the Mustangs have done so well this year and are in the hunt for a state title, and a top level libero make it easy to have her on this list.

Kami Milner Kami Milner DS/L Sunrise Mountain | 2026 State AZ showed nerves of steel with a clutch serving run that completely flipped the momentum against Perry on Day 1. Her ability to stay composed under pressure helped fuel a critical shift in energy that set the tone for the rest of the match. On Day 2, she anchored the back row in the Gold Bracket, holding her own against powerhouse programs like Bishop Gorman and Mater Dei. Kami dug some of the hardest-hitting attackers in the gym, showing off her quick reflexes, court awareness, and fearless defense.
