She hustles fast to get her hands on the ball from anywhere on the court and makes sure to set her offense so a play is made. Her fast hands, loud communication and constant energy helped her team make an appearance in the state playoffs this season. After her final season of club, Orizotti will go on to play Division One volleyball for Towson University.

Orizotti, a setter for South Salem, played lights out this weekend. She is a dynamic setter with a great jump set to her hitters. She works her offense, seeing the court before she makes a play. When she is front row, she presses on the block angling her hands into the court.

Orizotti had a great season with Athena 18-1 Gold, and she will be joining Athena 16-1 Gold this July as they compete in the 16 American division at USAV Nationals. Orizotti is a skilled setter. She showcases a nice touch on the ball and a quick release; combined with her good footwork, Orizotti places her sets well. After playing at the 18s level, Orizotti will undoubtedly bring lots of skill and confidence to the 16-1 team.

Why the rise? This fall with South Salem High School, Orizotti proved her elite status as a setter. Masterfully executing a 5-1 for the Saxons, she was honored with Central Valley First Team All-Leauge. She went through a bit of a growth spurt, she was 5’7” last year and her ability to set or attack across the front row has now been noted. With a soft touch and high contact point on the ball, she hides her set location well. She has honed in on her jump setting capabilities, and the improvement is showing. Playing up an age bracket and with a new club, Orizotti can be seen playing for Athena 18-1 Gold this season.

Orizotti, who sets alongside Delainy Williams Delainy Williams 5'8" | S Central Catholic | 2024 State OR for the Athena 18-1 team, has stepped up big time to play at the 18s level despite only being a sophomore. Orizotti displays very controlled and disciplined footwork and jump sets, and she does a great job of feeding her star attackers effectively.
