Morales took home the MVP award for the South Puget Sound League and will be a big part of the Curtis Vikings’ push for a repeat of last year’s title run. She has been racking up kills and blocks on both pins and can be a dominant force when the Vikings are rolling. Morales has great timing and press as a blocker; she can turn the momentum of a set with a monster block or a scorching kill.

The Curtis High School attacker has many of the best physical gifts in the state. Morales is long, attacks with power from both pins, and can soar high above the net to slam down a monster block.

Morales is the most physically impressive, uncommitted athlete in the class. The Curtis High School attacker helped lead her team to a state title, bouncing kills off the right side and making life miserable for outsides as a blocker. Morales will have every opportunity to wow college coaches during the club season. SIVBC 17 Storm has four Open Qualifiers scheduled, along with Emerald City and the GJNC.

Morales has been dynamite from the right side to start the season, dominating as a blocker and pounding down jarring kills when the Vikings call her number. A fully healthy Morales will be key to Curtis making a run at the State Championship, the team is talented and experienced with good athletes all over the court.
