About Karleigh

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I was part of my school marching band where we won the 2023 State Championship, among many other awards including several firsts. I was also fourth chair in our school district Honor Band. This year I'm just in the wind ensemble so I can still play flute and play volleyball, and will be able to audition for the Honor Band again. I also just became a member of CSF and National Honor Society.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

By playing with several of the same girls for several years, on high school and club, I've learned how to communicate better and trust my teammates. I've learned to act like a leader, and be positive mentally to help uplift our game as a whole, so we all play at our best physically. I also have learned how to always have fun playing volleyball no matter what.

Karleigh Larson Karleigh Larson Karleigh Larson 5'11" | S/RS West Ranch | 2027 CA brings a strong ability to connect her offense, consistently building rhythm with both her middles and pin hitters. She shows trust in her teammates and keeps communication active through rallies, which allows her team to stay organized even in high-pressure situations.

My coach always tells me to take a deep breath before each play… as a result, my sets will get to the sweet spot and be more comfortable to hit.

Her presence at the net adds another layer, as she is willing to be aggressive and stay engaged beyond just setting, contributing in multiple phases of the game.

She is currently focused on simplifying her decisions and maintaining a steady mindset. That ability to stay relaxed and deliver consistent sets is key to helping her offense operate more efficiently against stronger blocks.
