About Kassidy

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Energetic and highly mobile player who never backs down—constantly moving, communicating, and doing whatever it takes to help my team win.… and just having fun too!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm really competitive and always give my best. I’m a team player, I listen to my coaches, and I try to stay positive and help my teammates no matter what.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’ve received High Honor Roll awards for my academic achievements and enjoy volunteering through community service.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve learned how important teamwork is, and I always try to support and encourage my teammates. I’m also working on being a better leader by staying positive and helping others stay focused during games and practices.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Earlier this year at Lonestar, I got injured late in a game and had to sit out for six weeks. It was really tough mentally because I couldn’t play, but I still traveled with my team and supported them even though I didn’t have to. I stayed focused on therapy and worked hard to get back on the court.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college with a strong volleyball program, great coaches, and a positive team environment. I also want a school where I can get a good education and feel at home while on campus.

She is a dominant presence at the net, Kassidy turned heads throughout the event, with many college coaches frequently asking about her performance and potential. She has every asset a coach would want in a middle blocker. She explodes off the ground quickly, moves laterally well, and is highly effective on both offense and defense. Kassidy’s timing and read on the block are advanced for her age, consistently shutting down attackers and creating problems for opposing offenses. She is capable of running a multitude of plays, and can terminate the ball from anywhere. Her competitive drive, physical tools, and high volleyball IQ make her one of the most complete middles in the state. She is a name that will continue to gain serious attention for the collegiate level.
