Kayla Birmingham Kayla Birmingham OH St. Laurence | 2025 State IL was so fun to watch this club season playing for 1st Alliance 17 Silver where she just has a hammer for an arm swing. She is tough to defend with how she can attack out of serve receive to different parts of the net from different tempos. This past summer she gave her verbal to play at UW-Green Bay, part of the Horizon League (NCAA D1) once her high school career concludes. She was a 1st Team All State outside hitter in 2023 where her team lost to St. Ignatius in the Super Sectional round.

I saw Kayla Birmingham Kayla Birmingham OH St. Laurence | 2025 State IL at MEQ playing for her 1st Alliance 17 Silver team and was so impressed. Her approach to her hand contact was special where she could spring off the ground and just thump the ball. Her arm swing is violent where she can create plenty of chaos on the other side of the net. She is fast to the ball, well trained from her footwork to her swing, and has so many positive intangibles in her favor. This 17 Silver team is really dangerous as well where they can knock off a lot of big teams. She is definitely a prospect to look for during the summer live period.
