At 6’4″, middle blocker and hitter Kelis Hawkins Kelis Hawkins 6'2" | MB Etiwanda | 2025 State CA is an imposing force on the court. Her height and impressive wingspan make her a dominant presence at the net, intimidating opponents and shutting down attacks with high, effective blocks. Kelis’s strength and precision in her offensive game are equally remarkable, as she consistently scores by hammering the ball with power. She excels at connecting with quick, fast sets, sending the ball straight down with authority. Kelis’s combination of size, skill, and athleticism cements her as a standout player and a formidable threat in any match. Kelis is committed to Wake Forrest.

Please officially welcome Kelis to the State Rankings.  She is currently ranked as the 64^th best overall player according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings.  She plays for Etiwanda High School and also the Forza1 club program.  Miss Hawkins has dominated at the net on the defensive side for as long as we can remember.  She has an exceptionally long wingspan and uses it very well to shut down opposing attackers at the net.  What also stands out about her play is how well she moves around the court.  Her athleticism and speed are remarkable for such a taller athlete.  The way that she is able to fly from one side of the court to the other while closing the block is amazing and says a lot about what she will be able to do in college while blocking.  She will be attending and playing volleyball next season for Wake Forest University and will surely help solidify their defense.  On the offensive end, she is able to run every route in the middle route tree with precision and speed that results in efficient attacking.  We are very proud to have her listed on our site.  Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot in our prestigious State Rankings.
