About Annabelle

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my game play style as aggressive and strategic. During games I like to always be on my toes and know what's going on on the other side of the net to strategize and help my team. When the time is right I like to swing and find holes to push or tip to.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I always try to have a aggressive and positive mentality on the court. I know the importance of being exited and positive to not only help yourself play your best, but also your teammates. Playing exited and competitive is the key to having a good game all around to me.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, I've faced significant challenges such as starting the sport at a later age. By the time I started in 7th grade most people I play with have already been playing for 3 years. It was hard playing with people who have already known each other for so long and trying to fit in but I clicked with everyone fast and now they are some of my closest friends.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a collage with a strong volleyball program where I can continue to not only grow my athletic ability in the sport but grow my love for being on the court. I find playing a high level with good competition is is exiting for me and I'm hoping to do so in collage. I'm also looking for a collage with a good academic program so I can continue being successful even out of collage.

More of a right side than a middle at the moment, Annabelle is a springy, terminating oppo with a whip for a right arm and a tough out when blocking. She’s a three-rotation right side for her KiVA squad, but is slowly developing into the type of kid that needs to stay in the lineup for all six rotations. Very few right-handed right sides exist in this class, let alone ones that can score points at will for their respective squads. Miss Freels is one of those kids that can easily turn into a plug-and-play right side at the next level.
