Coming off a hot club season, we’re excited to see Holtorf step back into the prep arena. Despite being just a freshman, she is no stranger to the varsity court and will once again be tasked with running the offense for STMA. Holtorf plays with an advanced skill set well beyond her age, reversing the ball with ease, finding her hitters when pushed off the net, and getting her feet to the ball to deliver clean out of system sets to her pins. She is fun to watch and continues to show why she is a major player to watch in the Class of 2030.

I’ve been a huge Holtorf fan for a while. She is a setter who isn’t one note, rather she can do just about everything. She plays fast, delivers a clean ball, runs the offense well, tracks down tough passes, isn’t afraid to dump, and can even attack from the right pin. Training and competing with a talented MN Select 14-1s squad is only going to help her continue to develop. While she is young, I’m calling it now as I think Holtorf is going to do big things. I think her future is incredibly bright.
