About Kennedy

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Encouraging and competitive. I never quit until the last point and I’m always adjusting and trying something different to help my team succeed. As a setter, I focus on staying positive, making smart decisions, and putting my hitters in the best position to score.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am mentally strong, direct, and encouraging. I stay calm under pressure and try to lift up my teammates. I am confident in my role and work hard to keep the team focused and motivated.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

FCA, Young Life, and Wildlife.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Leadership, communication, teamwork, and resilience. I’ve learned how to stay positive, adjust quickly, and support my teammates in competitive situations.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Not making my 5th grade volleyball team motivated me to work harder and prove myself. Since then, I’ve stayed focused on improving and never taking my spot for granted.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m excited to play college volleyball because I love the team bond and competitive environment. I also plan to pursue dental school to become an orthodontist, so I’m looking for a school that supports both strong academics and athletics.

Seider has developed an outstanding setting rhythm before entering high school. Seider has quick hands and is showing the ability to execute a variety of sets. Seider even pulls off the back set with little to no lean so as not to tip off blockers where the ball is going. Seider puts the right amount of arc on her sets. Seider recently played up in the 16U Division in a recent tournament. Seider makes the most of every set, including ones that are out of system. Daily improvements on and off the court could go a long way for Seider entering high school.
