Kylee Moniz brings numbers to back up her instincts. She reported that her serving averaged 94 percent with 69 aces last season, and she added 278 assists and 295 digs, the kind of complete stat line that shows a setter who impacts every phase of the game. She enjoys dumping the most because of the way it catches an opposing team off guard, and she spent the summer sharpening her topspin serve to keep adding new ways to score. She describes herself as confident under pressure and adaptable, someone who studies where the other team is positioned so she can strategize in real time.
