How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My favorite part of this sport is that it is not always the hardest hit but usually the smartest that will win the point. I am able to match game IQ to in game scenarios, always looking for ways to score while my opponents are in transition.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a team player; I love achieving our wins and sometimes losses together. I am a very dedicated and passionate about my sport. I do have the ability to keep a calm demeanor and instead try to use any of that energy to play better and smarter to keep my team encouraged.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

HOSA, FCA, SCA

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

My positions as setter have allowed me to develop as a leader and has helped me better communicate with different types of players and people. Our team also does community projects and volunteers as well as my time with HOSA.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I am a smaller player for my position. This has posed its challenges however has made me work harder to prove that I can still make a difference for my team and my position. I have to work twice as hard on my vertical and net skills to overcome players that have this advantage naturally. There is no better feeling than knowing your hard work pays off.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking to study Physiology and would like to play somewhere that I can major in something I am also passionate about. My goal is a D1 Program but really want to find a program where I can make the biggest difference no matter the division.
