is the other original player. No player on the current team is from the class of 2026.
Kiya has the height at 6’4″ to dominate. She also has an approach that reaches close to 10’2″ with a block jump at 9’9″. When everything clicks, approach, jump and arm swing that ball hits the floor hard. When blocking she has nice fluid movements and the long legs to get to the pins quick.
Surprisingly Kiya still has not yet committed. It certainly isn’t that hard to find her on the court.

Kiya is playing up for
Paramount
18. At 6’4″ with an approach jump of a little over 10’1′ she can put up a good block. Some of her time could be played at right side since
Paramount
has on their roster two more middles/right sides in

. Dylann has committed to Indiana State while Meisha has committed to Central Michigan. Kiya is the lone middle yet to commit yet she still belongs to the class of 2027.
Last year Kiya played for Maryland Juniors. She also played for Montgomery Blair where her 78 blocks finished third in the state of Maryland. She average 1.3 blocks per set. Another player who clearly led her team in blocking.
Paramount 18 has yet to qualify for Junior Nationals. Hate to see a player this talented go unnoticed.

Kiya led her team in kills with an awe inspiring .564 hitting percentage. She also led the team in blocks. One of those players who will improve quickly the more she plays.
Last year she played for Maryland Juniors. This year she will suit up for Paramount. She will play a year up with the 18s team.
