brings a competitive edge to the setter position, paired with a willingness to impact the game beyond a single role. Her focus on defense, tempo, and setting across all positions points to a player who stays engaged in every phase, not just when the ball is in her hands. That level of involvement suggests a setter who values complete court awareness and constant influence on play.
“My competitiveness, leadership, work ethic, and enjoyment of the game.”
Her response reflects a player who plays with intention, using both mindset and effort to elevate the group around her. There is a clear connection between her competitiveness and her ability to stay active through longer rallies and pressure moments.
She has been working on running a faster tempo offense while improving her ability to read where the ball is going. That combination of pace and anticipation allows her to make earlier decisions and keep the offense moving, creating opportunities before the defense is fully set.
We are excited to welcome Sherrill to the SLC Showcase as she brings her competitiveness and energy into a setting that will push both her tempo and all-around impact across the court.

Kylie made one of the biggest jumps when she moved 21 spots from 39 to 18. The word potential is going to be used a lot with Kylie as more and more people see her play. She just screams potential and the ability to grow into a top level player with her all around ability and athletic ability.
When you see her on the floor the first thing you notice is just how tall and athletic she is, she is easily 5’10 and flows and moves effortlessly on the floor. Having a setter being able to move with ease gives coaches a lot of options when it comes to their offense. She can take an average pass and make it into a great offense play with how well she places the set. The defense has a tough time determining where to block as she can set across the grain to a different pin hitter when the pass isn’t there. Keeping a defense guessing is a great asset for any coach to have.
Another great aspect to her game is her ability to play all 6 rotations. A big skill to being a top 5 setter in your class is the ability to play all 6 rotations whether as a setter or as a RS hitter. Kylie is able to do both depending on the situation. She has a good arm swing, and the capability to fill that role if needed. She is also a great offensive threat in the front row as a setter, routinely being able to make hitters freeze as she can dump on them at will.
We can’t wait to see Kylie during the club season be a top level player she is capable of, and any new setters out there would enjoy watching her play ball.

brings grit and persistence to the setter position. She highlighted defense and the setter dump as strengths she continues to lean into while taking private lessons to sharpen her skills. Her goals are straightforward and process-oriented, to grow, get better, compete against strong opponents, and have fun doing it. What coaches will notice quickly is her mindset. Kylie summed herself up simply and honestly, she never quits, a trait that shows up in long rallies, tough stretches, and her willingness to stay engaged point after point.

Kylie was a real standout at the event in terms of separating herself from other setters with her all around game play. She demonstrated a high level of volleyball play and high IQ when it came to running an offense.
Kylie is a lengthy setter who has exceptional speed to the ball, her length is an added benefit as it allows her to play all 6 rotations, whether as a setter running a 5-1, or as a hitter on the right side. For her setting she showed a great ability to have a connection with her middles and running them throughout game play with perfect sets. She also has good tempo to the pin hitters and delivers the ball with ease even while out of system. She can run a fast offense from any location on the floor and is able to get the ball where she wants with ease.
She also has some all around attributes as well with her game play. She has a great serve and is able to keep the other team out of system by attacking the serve receive spot she is aiming for. She also plays good defense and has a solid platform for a setter. She could probably serve receive in a pinch based on how well she gets her arms to the ball.
Overall, Kylie came to play at the exposure tour and really put on quite the show. She is an extremely talented setter who should see a big jump in our next rankings!
