Petrie is another student-athlete with an athletic lineage. Her father played quarterback at Northern Iowa and her brother is a rising quarterback in Iowa’s 2028 Class. Petrie was a key player for Six Pack 14U in its earning a bid to the USAV Junior Nationals, hammering away from the outside pin with a strong vertical leap and power in the swing. She moves well around the court and does well in flowing with the action. Also a standout in club basketball and impactful in track, Petrie has plenty of room for development in volleyball as she gains more reps. She’s in a couple of volleyball programs historically strong at getting the most out of their players, making Petrie one to watch in the future.
