Much like her CIA teammate and MVC rival Ava Jones Ava Jones 5'8" | OH/DS/L Waterloo West | 2027 State IA , Krecklow is ranked in the Top 25 of the latest Prep Dig Iowa Class of 2027 rankings update and remains uncommitted to a college heading into her senior season. There no reason to sound the alarm. She will find the right home at a program that believes in her ability and potential to grow into more. Krecklow has been standing out as an impactful six-rotation performer for successful programs in club and at Cedar Falls for years. She makes up for a lack of height by exploding off of the court and generating a technically-sound, repeatable swing. Krecklow is smart, playing off of the block and finding holes in the defense. A strong defender in the back row, she’ll be atop the scouting reports of Tiger opponents once again this fall.

Krecklow burst on the prep scene as a sophomore last season. She earned third-team all-state honors in Iowa’s largest classification. I scouted her last year and again during the club campaign. My first in-person viewing of the 2025 season happened when Cedar Falls traveled to City High in late September. Krecklow reaffirmed her position as one of the state’s top all-around performers. She can put the ball down from either pin with authority. Her defense at the net and in the back row also stands out. Krecklow’s biggest improvements have come in the way of consistency and reading opponents. She makes very few mistakes.
