Peck is a solid setter, who I can tell has worked on the other parts of her game. She isn’t one of those setters who only focuses on “setting” but rather has put effort and attention into all of it. She hit and blocked well this weekend, played great defense, was a leader on the court, and of course, dished up great assists to her heavy hitting team.

So, I will admit that I am still upset with myself for not pulling her aside to get a top performer picture. Peck showed such consistency in her footwork, contact, release, and location. She was quite literally a machine. You can tell Peck is a really strong athlete because she is super fast to the ball and she moves it from pin to pin with great efficiency. She jump sets with ease and she is clearly competitive in any sort of game-like situation.

Peck was a newbie to me this year and I’m so glad she attended. She has great footwork and a high contact point making her set selection hard to read. Peck has a fast release on the ball and good location. She commands attention when she is the floor general and she does a great job working with all the new faces.
