She does an impressive job working to the second ball, getting herself in position and giving her hitters something they can attack even when the first contact isn’t ideal. That ability to keep an offense functional through difficult plays is valuable. Sussner does a good job getting the ball out to the likes of Faris before the defense gets set. She moves the ball around quickly and efficiently to keep blockers guessing. Sussner should see some better competition over the club season in regards to and this can only make her better. I can’t wait to see what the club season will bring her.
