Size has never been Libby Tedder Libby Tedder 5'10" | OH/DS/L Springtown | 2027 State TX ‘s selling point, but speed and timing are. The 5’9″ outside gets to her spot fast and contacts the ball high and in front, so the block is often still forming when she swings. That approach has produced 592 kills through 126 sets, the third most among Texas seniors. She led the entire Dallas Fort Worth area in kills earlier this fall. Teams have built their game plans around stopping her and she has still stayed near five kills a set. She is smart off the block on tight sets and rarely gives away a cheap point. Her serve is a weapon too and she dropped six aces in a sweep of Burkburnett. None of this is new. She was a TGCA 4A All-State pick as a sophomore and played at the USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championship in Indianapolis this summer. Please help us congratulate her on earning this well deserved recognition.

Libby Tedder Libby Tedder 5'10" | OH/DS/L Springtown | 2027 State TX brings a big swing from a small town, and she makes her presence felt every time she plays. A true offensive threat from anywhere, Libby does an excellent job adjusting to the set and attacking with confidence, always swinging with the intent to score. Her versatility and fearlessness make her difficult to defend, while her high energy and enthusiasm elevate everyone around her. That spark she brings is exactly what a team needs to stay motivated, connected, and pushing forward point after point.

We have seen Miss Tedder a few times this past season and we knew that she was ready for another solid season on the pins.  What we didn’t know was just how good of a season she would have.  The five foot ten left side has some serious pop to her game and should be given a few looks by schools who need a terminator on the left side.  She can get up in a hurry and locate the ball anywhere she desires with her golden right arm.  Currently she has the third most kills in the entire state of Texas amongst all grad classes.  The season is not over and she is only 45 kills away from her career best.  Her 460 kills is even more impressive known that she is doing it with a  .278 hitting percentage.  That efficiency alone should tell you all you need to know about her ability to kill the ball at a high level.  We had some fun getting to know her at our showcase at nationals this past club season and think you should take some time to get to know her as well.  We guarantee you will be impressed.
